Arnold & District Camera Club

Arnold, Nottingham, UK

Membership

The Club had its first meeting at a local pub with eight original members. Membership currently stands at forty-six, and we now meet in the Pond Hills Lane Community Centre.

The Club offers it`s members a range of benefits, from use of Club equipment to providing a forum for members to display their work. The Club has it`s own lights and also a slide projector which members can hire for a small charge, provided of course, that they are not required by the Club. Members will have the opportunity to submit pictures to be displayed on this website in their own Gallery. Members also have the opportunity to enter local, regional and national competitions through their affiliation to the Club.

Unfortunately, at this time the Club has no facilities for processing on the premises but we do have members who are willing to demonstrate processing in their own darkrooms if so desired.

Membership fees are collected from each member in order to ensure adequate facilities, and to finance Club activities throughout the year. Annual fees are due on the 1st of January each year. Fees are reduced quarterly to reflect late membership (e.g. if you join in April you pay 3/4 of the fee, or 1/2 the fee in June etc). Annual membership fees and entry fee are decided at the Annual General Meeting which is held towards the end of the year.

Please contact the Club for more information on membership and fees.

If you prefer to talk to someone please contact our Chairman, Dave Hollingsworth on 01623 411209.
